Cyrille KONTER is a French independent lawyer with the Bar of the Hauts-de-Seine (Greater Paris region). He focuses primarily on both advisory and litigation matters relating to international VAT as well as private wealth taxation
Before becoming a lawyer, Cyrille KONTER worked for more than 20 years within the TEVEA Group, a company specializing in tax representation and VAT compliance, where he served as Legal and Tax Director, then as Partner and Managing Director. This experience enabled him to develop extensive expertise in international VAT, as well as in wealth taxation, particularly concerning real estate holdings.
A graduate of HEC and fully trilingual in French, English, and German, Cyrille KONTER has always worked in an international and operational environment, allowing him to understand his clients’ concrete issues and operational constraints.
Building on his experience at TEVEA, Cyrille KONTER chose to pursue a career as a lawyer, obtaining a Master’s degree in Corporate Tax Law and a Master’s degree in Tax and Customs Litigation.
Cyrille KONTER is also Treasurer of the International VAT Association (IVA) and President of the Association of French Tax Representatives (ARFF).
